Question: What is the pathological condition where there is no pulp present in any of the teeth in any of the dentition of a patient?

Respected dentist members of the group, Here is a question I wanted to get an answer to. What is the pathological condition where there is no pulp present in any of the teeth in any of the dentition of a patient. Please rply asap. Thank you.

Sai Naveen Pilli: no pulp… pulpless teeth??

Aditya Law: dentine dysplasia type I

Darrell Pruitt: Dentures

Krishnendu Chatterjee: it probably is Dentine dysplasia type 1. but are there any diseases, syndromes or conditions whr it occurs? Actually we were shown an OPG of a mixed dentition with no pulp in any of the teeth… (pulpless teeth)

Pratima Maurya: Wht pulpless mixed dentition?

Aditya Law: Krishnendu Chatterjee paedo te dekhiyeche toh?

Hemish Joshi: is it even possible?? or ur trying to say tht teeth missing pulp from the eruption time or pulp degenerating after their eruption??

Krishnendu Chatterjee: Aditya Law da, yes pedo tei dekiye6e. Dr. Subrata Sarkar.

Krishnendu Chatterjee: Hemish Joshi ya the teeth r missing pulp since eruption

Mohammed Amin: edentulous mouth 😉 hehhehehe

Hemish Joshi: bt according to histology without any pulp tissue hw can a tooth erupt??

Rahul Mehetre: what u saw on that OPG ????can u upload that OPG?

Krishnendu Chatterjee: actually it is an OPG in The pedo dontics dept of our college. personal collection of our HOD Dr. Subrata Sarkar. I dont hav the picture. but from what we saw, it was a Mixed dentition, looked very normal, except for the fact that none of the teeth had pulp chambers/canals…!!

Khurshid Mohiuddin Wani: Impossile how can tooth erupt when there is no pulp,,,can u plz explaine,,,

Endodontics Regenerated: Krishnendu Chatterjee in other words do u say that the pulp chamber looks calcified or totally radiopaque.

Hemish Joshi: u shld chk the serum calcium of the patient first before deciding any treatment planning also u might hv to chkhis tsh levels n all before coming to any diagnosis or planning any treatment n for those who said it can be dentin dysplasia then if u observe the opg closely then looking at the amount of dentin present u can easily diagnose bt @Krishnendu Krishnendu Chatterjee pulp can not be absent from the beginning its impossible better chk hormone levels 🙂

Miguel Angel Valdez: Dentinogenesis Imperfecta

Tanuja Tiruveedula: i didnt cum acros a qustn lyk ds sir can u xplain plz. . .

Challiyil Pavithran Vipin: If the virus spreads then dentist will have to find another way for living… Lol

Sana Araib Subhani: Pulpchamber, radioopaq??

Miguel Angel Valdez: Guys, this condition is called Dentinogenesis Imperfecta. Look for it, read about it and will understand, why the pulp chambers are absent.

Hemish Joshi: bt hehas clearly mentioned tht teeth appear normal which isnt a sign of tht

Miguel Angel Valdez: In DI teeth look normal. It would be different if it was Amelogenesis Imperfecta. Dont be confused

DrMonika Khatri: i thnk x-rays cnt show soft tissue,so pulp cnt b seen thru opg, without seing opg no 1 can assure u abt d cond,”d eyes can see wat ur mind knws”
